Types of fire alarm systems
There are 3 main types of fire alarm system & they are as follows:
- IONIZATION
This type of fire alarm system has a limited quantity of radioactive material between two electrically charged plates, which ionizes the air and causes current to stream between the plates. - PHOTOELECTRIC

- Combination
Combination alarms include both ionization and photoelectric fire detecting technologies.
